100 subscriber party!

Last week, I looked at my channel and realised I had passed my very first milestone: 100 subscribers! That might not seem like very much in the astronomical numbers of the current internet, but it's still exciting for me. 100 people have not only found my channel, but they've decided to give me a chance!

This has come after a year of sporadic uploads, wavering confidence and constant uncertainty. What I want to work on next is finding my voice and my place in the video world now that I have got to grasps with some of the technical aspects. I'm grateful to my YouTube friends who have helped, supported me and given me advice along the way. At the beginning of this year, I was too shy to promote my videos on any platform, but now I'm dropping those links and realising there are some people who are happy to watch!

This milestone almost passed by me because I've had a hectic few weeks that has involved moving around the country for various reasons while I temporarily don't have a housing contract. And now the number has climbed to over 120. It seems the channel is growing - at least for now (and I need to get on with finishing my next video script!)
